Aldrich Pilates began from humble beginnings in a five hundred square foot studio near downtown New Haven. Sara Aldrich had just completed the Kane School Pilates Instructor Certification Program and was eager to share her newfound knowledge with students. Within two years, the business outgrew the space, so she relocated to a larger one and hired five instructors to keep up with the demand. They believe that Pilates is the modality for helping people of all ages and abilities inhabit their best bodies, and they tailor the choreography of each class to suit the interests and needs of students.

After discovering Pilates because of a back injury, Erika Hannon became fully certified through the STOTT Pilates Certification Program. She has taught this method since 1998, and her goal is to provide a fun, safe, and efficient workout for students of all levels. Designed for smaller classes, the Pilates Center of Milford is fully equipped with STOTT Pilates equipment, and each workout first focuses on core muscles and alignment before adding in an element of total body conditioning. The instructors offer an array of classes such as Pilates with Props, Core Suspension, and Express Reformer.
