Edmond Town Hall (Newtown)
Edmond Town Hall is a 1930s Georgian style building that's located on the National Register of Historic Places. The theater offers comfortable seating and reasonably priced movies that play for a short time. A free 7:00 p.m. show is offered on the second Saturday of each month.
Bijou Theatre (Bridgeport)
The Bijou Theatre is one of the oldest continuously run movie houses in the United States. Originally designed as an opera house, it opened in 1909 and entertained movie goers until 1996 when it closed. It reopened fifteen years later as a multi-functional venue where visitors can watch a movie, comedy act, or theatrical performance. The theatre's original proscenium arch frames the stage and visitors can enjoy a delicious treat from the old-fashioned concession stand. There are 202 seats and the films shown are classic, foreign, or independent.
